PRIVACY

Updated November 21, 2025

Privacy is a fundamental human right.

This site attaches great importance to the protection of users’ privacy and personal information.

This site does not run ads or require accounts. When you use the website, some basic data and third‑party services may be involved. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and transfer that data.

1. What we collect and why

  • Access logs (minimal): standard server/CDN logs (IP, user agent, URL, timestamp) used for security, abuse mitigation, and performance monitoring; rotated/retained for a limited time.
  • Comments (optional): if you submit a comment, Twikoo will store the nickname/email/website you provide plus your IP and the comment text to deliver and moderate comments.
  • Analytics (optional): Umami collects anonymized page‑view metrics (URL, referrer, device info); no ads and no profile building.

2. Cookies and local storage

  • Theme/language preferences and local search may be stored in your browser to improve experience.
  • Umami may set a first‑party cookie for anonymous analytics; you can clear or block it in your browser.
  • Twikoo may set cookies to keep your comment identity (nickname/email); you can delete them anytime.

3. Third‑party services we use

  • Umami analytics (umami.is, umami.closex.org): anonymous page‑view statistics.
  • Twikoo comments (twikoo-hsk-hidden.closex.org): stores comments and provided contact fields for display/moderation.
  • Busuanzi (busuanzi.ibruce.info): simple visit counter.
  • QWeather widget: shows weather on specific posts.
  • CDN/static hosting (cdn.staticfile.net, ucarecdn.com, Vercel CDN): delivers static assets and may record standard access logs.

You can block these domains in your browser or use tracker‑blocking extensions if you prefer.

4. Your choices

  • You can browse without commenting; no personal identifiers are required to read content.
  • Delete cookies/local storage in your browser to remove stored preferences or analytics identifiers.
  • For comment removal or data requests related to Twikoo, email contact@closex.org with the URL of the comment.

5. Changes

Significant updates to this policy will be posted with a new “Updated” date on this page.
